NCC 1701-A U.S.S. Enterprise, the original TV series Enterprise is the lower one, with the film model is above. Both look as though they are made out of match sticks still, although the higher starship looks a slightly bigger build. This Enterprise was used right up to 1991 when the Enterprise A came out of commision. From Star Trek the movie to Star Trek the Undiscovered Country the Enterprise A was modified slowly to make the powerful ship at the end of its long life. NCC 1701-A, rest in peace.

NCC 1701-B U.S.S. Enterprise, Excelsior was first seen in Star Trek - The Search For Spock, when Mr. Scotty and friends tampered with the engines. The next appearence was at the end of Star Trek - The Voyage Home in spacedock, it was infront of the Enterprise A, and we could see hear how was going to be the ships captain. Finaly the Enterprise B got a half screening, in Star Trek - The Undiscovered Country. The big ship (for the period) was captained by none other than Mr. Sulu. The whole film starts with a scene on the Excelsior with a large explosion on a near by moon. The Excelsior also gets a young star aboard, yes Christian Slater is one of the ships officers. The Excelsior Class ship was also featured at the begining of the film Generations, and captain James T Kirk was killed on that ship in the eyes of many people, but we see him again! Finally the Excelsior had a role as the Lokota in Deep Space Nine, video 4.6!

NCC 1701-D U.S.S. Enterprise, Galaxy class Enterprise is the most recent Enterprise to date. It was Star Trek - The Next Generation's ship captained by Captain Jean Luc Pickard. The Enterprise D has also been in one film, Star Trek - Generations, which it was the only ship apart from the Enterprise C at the beginning. Star Trek - The Next Generation (or STTNG) has been running for about six years, and the most succesful Star Trek series yet. Deep Space Nine and Voyager will have to get much better to beat the success rate of Star Trek TNG. The Enterprise D was destroyed at the end of the film, with a spectacular crash sequence.

Left This is the U.S.S. Enterprise D, Right the Enterprise crashing at the end of the film, Generations.
